Author Ru Emerson, 80, died August 15, 2025 in Dallas OR. Emerson was born December 15, 1944 in Butte MT. She wrote The Sword and the Lion (1993) under the pen name Roberta Cray. Emerson published media and gaming tie-ins, and contributed to shared worlds, both singly and in collaboration.
