A fire broke out at the GBL building in Eastways industrial estate in Witham at 4.42pm on Friday, resulting in 20 different fire stations from around the county attending the incident. Black billowing smoke could be seen from the site and crews worked into the night as the fire measured 80 metres by 50 metres. "The cause of the fire is accidental.”Now, Witham Industrial Watch (WIW), which provides support to businesses in the Eastways industrial estate, has reacted to the incident.
