Louie Day, 23, who was serving with the Met Police died after his Vauxhall Corsa left the road on the A414 between Ongar and Chelmsford around 3.30am last Friday, sadly the young officer died at the scene. Louie's family have paid tribute to the "beautiful soul" saying he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. “Police Constable Louie Day, 23 worked as a response officer on the East Area Command, based from Barking and Dagenham. “We continue to support Essex Police with their investigation and thank them for the support they are providing to Louie’s family at this difficult time. “Louie’s family remain in our thoughts.”Anyone with information can make a report via the Essex Police website quoting incident number 109 of September 5.
