Farleigh Hospice, Havens Hospices, St Clare Hospice, Saint Francis Hospice and St Luke’s Hospice said they were "proud to partner" for the next phase of the This is Hospice Care campaign led by national hospice champion Hospice UK. The campaign is set to continue this autumn after a successful first phase in February this year, which aims to raise awareness and shift public perception of hospice care; which relies on donations to function. Featuring a "powerful" TV advertisement based on real-life hospice stories, the campaign focuses on highlighting how the registered charities help people to "live well", not just on end of life care. A spokesperson for Essex hospices said, “We are proud to be part of the second wave of this national campaign. "It’s a chance to remind people across Essex - and the country - that hospice care is not just about the end of life; it’s about helping people live well until the very end.
