KVMR 89.5 FM is literally going to the dogs (and cats) this Saturday. The Nevada City radio station will be offering laser-engraved KVMR pet tags — complete with the pet’s name and phone number — to new animal members of the non-profit, eclectic station. Otherwise, the animal owners are encouraged to call in for the special pet tag. The Summit can also be heard as a podcast and downloaded at the station’s website — < www.kvmr.org/podcasts > in two one-hour segments called “NID Water Summit”. It airs Thursday, August 7, 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. (89.5 FM, kvmr.org streaming).
