The Nevada City radio station will produce not one — but two — live remote broadcasts this weekend: from the recently relocated Strawberry Music Festival at the Nevada County Fairgrounds and the American River Music Festival near Coloma some 50 miles south. His colleague, Wesley Robertson, is producer of the American River Festival broadcast. “Strawberry is the premiere music festival in the western U.S., and I’ve always dreamed of broadcasting it,” says Rice.
