Utah’s 80th Birthday Party Highlights On-Air Fundraiser

This Friday would have been U. Utah Phillips’ 80th birthday.
“Joanna has this special spirit about her,” explained KVMR Program Director Steve Baker.
Some of Utah’s three children may join in as well.
Stories will be told, smiles will be had, and “the incredible impact Utah had on this community will be relived,” according to Baker.
For instance, he’d been working at a Santa Rosa radio station when Phillips once stopped by to visit.
