Still another first for KVMR 89.5 FM’s new building’s Community Room: this time, they’ll bring in some major local musicians for the facility’s first concert featuring Nevada County artists. They’ll play in front of an intimate KVMR audience of 25 or so this coming Sunday at noon (KVMR 89.5 FM. kvmr.org steaming) in a concert partially benefiting the non-profit, non-commercial radio station in downtown Nevada City. She also hosts a monthly jazz music program on the station, including this Thursday, 8 p.m. (89.5 FM, kvmr.org streaming). Which KVMR 89.5 FM did that very weekend, with the first spring Strawberry in thirtysomething years available on a full power station and on the web via KVMR.org.
