No stranger to house concerts in these parts, Georgia guitar wizard and singer-songwriter Caroline Aiken will be the next touring musician to perform in KVMR-FM’s new Community Room. Dubbed an Athens music icon in a college town teeming in musical heritage (i.e. R.E.M., the Indigo Girls), Aiken returns to Nevada City this Sunday 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. for a live broadcast concert on the eclectic Nevada City radio station. A limited number of $20 tickets to the intimate show are available at KVMR’s office (530-265-9073, 120 Bridge Street) and might be available at the door. Aiken has been a regular visitor to house concerts and the KVMR studios for well over a decade.
