You wouldn’t think listening to someone as they walk across the country would necessarily build your loyalty to a radio station. But to Marion Peterson, it opened her ears to KVMR 89.5 FM, a place where she has become a volunteer and now an on-air broadcaster as well. “I have loved KVMR since I discovered it 15 or 16 years ago,” she says. “There’s so much of music that I love,but, genre-wise, it’d be women doing the blues, even jazzy blues” notes Peterson. Audio, visual, photos, radio…Marion has her bases covered, that’s for sure.
