Trio Named To KVMR Hall Of Fame During Packed KVMR Volunteer Appreciation Fete

Three KVMR 89.5 FM broadcasters are the newest members of the Nevada City radio station’s Volunteer Hall of Fame. Ralph Henson, Russ Roy and Diane McIntire received the honors Tuesday night at the station’s Volunteer Appreciation Extravaganza and holiday party before a packed Stone Hall at the Miner’s Foundry across from the station, with close to 300 . Plus she became a volunteer broadcaster and trainer, was selected for the station’s volunteer Board of Directors and now has become its president. “And she just keeps on going; she’s an Energizer, all right.”Other non-programming volunteer award winners were:–Music Dept. –King Of The Live Remotes: Wesley Robertson (for 19 years of producing live remote broadcasts), KVMR Live Remote Award: Sacramento Dave (first year on team).
