Hello! I am an activist from the Philippines. I really appreciate this article. It is worth sharing, especially at this time when fake news is rampant. In the Philippines, the truth is distorted. It is very frustrating because we would have loved ones or friends who would support Duterte’s responses that are anti-human. Instead of saving lives, Duterte takes lives. And it is saddening because majority of the Filipinos are being deceived by Duterte’s pawns who are behind the screens, his trolls. His violent responses would be manipulated by these trolls and they would make it seem as if it’s the most efficient solution for the pandemic. People are dying and yet Duterte chooses to address the crisis with military actions instead of medical actions. I hope more content would expose the state’s fascism especially in these trying times. Majority of the Filipinos are suffering yet we believe that we remain stronger than this tyrant leader. Thank you for publishing a content that is true.
