There’s something pretty special about KVMR 89.5 FM’s broadcast tent at the annual Father’s Day Bluegrass Festival. About a decade ago, for instance, a new band came into the tent and just tore it up musically. Only a few months later, the Infamous Stringdusters got more infamous as they won the International Bluegrass Music Association’s award for Emerging Band of the Year.
