KVMR 89.5 FM Board of Directors member — and volunteer broadcaster — Diane McIntire was named the non-profit radio station’s 2018 Volunteer of The Year at the radio station’s Volunteer Appreciation Extravaganza this week. A firm believer in independent media and free speech, McIntire then became an active committee member, Board member and was elected Board President. McIntire has also helped produce a myriad of events and special projects to benefit KVMR and the new building. HALL OF FAMERSFour loyal contributors were named to the station’s Volunteer Hall of Fame, including John Stabile. “She’s been a membership volunteer since 1990,” Kelly said.
