the media has been guilty before of being a mouthpiece for the views of the elite. ie for almost its entire history. The only difference is that currently we have a vile uncouth type in the WH instead of a polite dimwit or a silver tongued glamour boy. The only reason the media are going after him is because he has departed from the Imperial geopolitical script re Russia. If he was onside, the media wouldn't be worried about this at all. Now they wont let up until he's tamed on this issue or impeached and thrown out.
