Anabel, as usual you have gotten yourself all screwed up with respect to Trumps plan for the US Military. In a postage summary that you might even understand. Trump is for giving the Military little boys more toys to play with. More fancy irrelevant jet fighters for the Air Force fly-boys to get their rocks off in the weekend. New tanks and guns for the deranged grunts to shoot of at the range at Fort Bragg. More Aircraft carriers for the admirals to cruise to far off destinations for dinner, and if a shooting war starts will be sunk in the first 10-minutes by the new Chinese hyper-sonic missiles. This will keep them all happy little campers. Same for the weapons makers. They will be happy. As will the people who work at bomb factories. They wont loose their jobs. But the part you are missing. Trump wants to keep this vast military at home as a defensive force. No more being the world's policeman and getting no thanks for it.No more providing defense services for bludgers like little ole' Nu Zilund. No more financing NATO, and giving the Europeans a free ride. No more imperialist wars of aggression. And ending the ridiculous cold War with Russia and Obama's Pivot to Asia. It's a win-win for everybody....except countries like your little isle who have been free-loaders depending upon the US military for their defense since WWII.
