MEDAS, an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company specialising in distillery, brewery and food processing solutions has been awarded a biofuels contract by NSL Sugars. The contract pertains to NSL Sugars’ Jai Mahesh Unit, located in Mazalgaon, District Beed,Maharashtra, where MEDAS will serve as the technology, engineering and equipment partner for their state-of-the-art distillery project. “MEDAS, incorporated in 2018 has already designed, engineered, and commissioned multiple distillery plants across India operating on multiple feedstocks, including grains and sugarcane juice/molasses. “Our recent success includes a 423,000 lpd sugarcane juice/grain based plant in Karnataka and a 125,000 lpd grain based ethanol plant in North India. Execution on the NSL project is already underway, with significant progress achieved in a short period of time.
