A woman was indicted for allegedly practicing at a dental practice in Georgia with a dental license that was altered to appear to be issued by the state dental board and more, according to multiple news stories published on September 18.
Emily Rochelle Brannon, 34, was indicted on September 10 by a Georgia county jury on charges of forgery in the first degree, identity fraud, and practicing dentistry without a license.
In January 2022, Brannon reportedly presented a fake dental license to the staff at Byrd Dental Group in Douglasville, GA.
The document appeared as though it was issued by the Georgia Board of Dentistry.
In April 2022, the board reported that Brannon complied with a request to cease and desist working under the forged license.
