The one-minute teaser also features action snippets, new creatures, and Sigourney Weaver. Jon Favreau directs and Pedro Pascal stars, with Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Dave Filoni, and Ian Bryce serving as producers. Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu was filmed for IMAX and will open in theaters on May 22, 2026. The Mandalorian premiered on Disney+ in November 2019, followed by season two in October 2020.
