HBO’s finally released an official trailer for IT: Welcome to Derry, offering a new look at Pennywise the Clown and the kids he’ll be terrorizing. The series is a prequel to the events that took place in the IT films, based on Stephen King’s novel and directed by Andy Muschietti. Commenting on King’s involvement, Muschietti said, “Stephen King has to approve everything. I’ve had a close relationship with Stephen King since I made the movies. Executive producers Barbara Muschietti and Jason Fuchs co-created the series with Andy Muschietti.
