Transport for Wales ( TfW ) and the Welsh Government unveiled plans to improve rail services in the north of the country back in May. Other ambitions included in Network North Wales are increased services on the Wrexham-Bidston line (with the aim of those services eventually running into Liverpool), pay as you go ticketing and finally electrifying at least parts of the North Wales Main Line.
