The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office reports that deputies responded to Russell Lane in Lancaster County near Litwalton on Saturday, May 17 around 5:45pm for a report of a hunting accident. The victim was identified as 14 year-old Cason Chilton and was then airlifted to VCU in Richmond. Chilton was hunting on the last day of turkey season and was unloading the 4-wheeler when the accident occurred.
