While reproductive health concerns have often centered on women with inflammatory joint disease (IJD), the fertility of affected men remains an area of debate. To clarify these uncertainties, investigators analyzed fertility patterns among men with PsA, RA, and axSpA compared with age-matched controls from the general population. The study population included 7131 men aged between 25 and 65 years diagnosed with PsA (n=2649), RA (n=1716), or axSpA (n=2766). Fertility outcomes were assessed by comparing the percentage of childless men, the mean number of children per man, and the timing of first fatherhood. Compared with control individuals, fewer men with IJD were childless (24.1% vs 30.8%; odds ratio [OR], 0.69; 95% CI, 0.65-0.73).
