MARLETTE — The city of Marlette has announced the official grand opening of its new Dog Park today, Wednesday, Sept. 17 at 11 a.m. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will mark the occasion, and the public is invited to attend. The Dog Park Project was initiated by the Marlette Park + Pool Board and made possible through community support, fundraising events, and funding from the city. The new facility will provide a space for residents and their dogs to gather, exercise, and enjoy the outdoors. Due to ongoing construction on Chard Street, visitors are asked to park by the Marlette Pool and access the Dog Park via the walking trail. “The development of the Dog Park reflects the community spirit of Marlette,” said Michele Mausolf, Chair of the Park + Pool Board.
