Tammi Johnson of Peck is handed a cup of chili by Sandusky school teacher Erin Carlson at the Chili Cook-off sponsored by the Sandusky Chamber of Commerce. The cook-off was a new event at the annual Sandusky Car Show held Saturday on the courthouse lawn. The chili sampled by Johnson won second place at the cook-off and was prepared by Carlson’s after-school cooking class. Carlson is flanked by students Rachel Carlson (daughter) and Colter Warczinsky.
