Wayne Fagan, 87, of Camarillo, passed away September 6, 2025, at Community Memorial Hospital, Ventura. Born January 17, 1938, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Haskell Rufus and Ozella Fagan, Wayne grew up in Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas with siblings Philip, Carolyn, and Bill. Wayne’s career spanned engineering and fashion retail—leading men’s fashion at Groden’s, Bullocks, and May Company— before pursuing his passion for fine art. Active in Ventura County churches, Wayne mentored others in faith. Survived by wife Deborah, children Juli, Erin, Joshua, and grandchildren Jett and Pixie who knew him as “Grandbuddy”.
