The Kansas City Chiefs are off to a surprising 0-2 start to the 2025 season, and their offensive struggles can be attributed to the absences of key players. The Chiefs lost wide receiver Xavier Worthy to a shoulder injury in their season opener, which further depleted a receiving corps that was already without wideout Rashee Rice while he serves a six-game suspension. ESPN's Dan Graziano reported that the lack of continuity at the wide receiver position has created concerns in Kansas City. "I get the sense that the Chiefs are frustrated by the repetitive nature of this -- their WR room being decimated every year by injuries and other issues," Graziano stated. Kansas City has produced just 38 combined points through two games this season.
