After leaving Monday's win over the Las Vegas Raiders with an elbow injury, Los Angeles Chargers pass-rusher Khalil Mack is headed to injured reserve, Jim Harbaugh told reporters Wednesday. Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo of NFL Network previously reported that Mack is expected to miss "a few weeks" due to a dislocated elbow. Even with the IR trip, the potential return after four games is a huge win for the Chargers. If the Chargers defense can maintain anything close to that level of performance without Mack, their strong start could continue while they wait for him to return. The next three games for the Chargers are home against the Denver Broncos, at the New York Giants and home against the Washington Commanders.
