Drake lost his rap battle with Kendrick Lamar about as comprehensively as any rapper has ever lost a rap battle in hip-hop history, and Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James seemed to be enjoying the Team Kendrick side of things during the height of that showdown. Drake responded by dissing James several times, though the basketball superstar said he will "always" have love for the Canadian musician. "Always wish him the best," James said on 360 With Speedy (15:11 mark). "There's a lot of things that we talk about knowing Drake since 2007," he said on The Shop back in 2018. And it's because of who he is and his hard work and dedication to his craft so it's pretty cool."
