Muhammad Ali's unsigned military draft card from the Vietnam War era is being auctioned at Christie's and is expected to be sold for anywhere between $3 million-$5 million, per the Associated Press.
"Being reminded of my father's message of courage and conviction is more important now than ever, and the sale of his draft card at Christie's is a powerful way to share that legacy with the world," his daughter, Rasheda Ali Walsh, said in a statement.
Ali was opposed to the Vietnam War and was convicted of draft evasion and banned from boxing for three years for his refusal to be drafted.
Ali appealed the ruling and the U.S. Supreme Court later overturned his conviction.
