Colorado football announced that Ralphie VII, the team's new live buffalo mascot, will make her debut on Saturday at Folsom Field for the team's home game against Wyoming. Colorado has had a live mascot since 1966, when Ralphie I debuted. Per a press release from Colorado Director of Strategic Communications / Spokesperson Steve Hurlbert, Ralphie VII is a one-year old American Bison who weighs 700 pounds. The Beauprez family, who are multigenerational University of Colorado alumni and owners of own Eagle's Wing Ranch, gifted Ralphie VII to the university. Ralphie VII will gallop before the team's 8:15 p.m.
