New York Liberty forward Breanna Stewart became the fastest player to score 1,000 career postseason points on Friday, accomplishing the feat in 46 career playoff games. The defending WNBA champion Liberty fell 79-73 to the Phoenix Mercury in Game 3 of their first round playoff series, ending their season. However, Stewart was sensational, scoring 30 points to go along with nine rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks. Diana Taurasi holds the WNBA's all-time playoff scoring record with 1,486 points. Two other active players sit on the WNBA's top-10 playoff scoring list: Mercury forward DeWanna Bonner (second with 1,221 points) and Las Vegas Aces center A'ja Wilson (eighth with 937 points).
