The Chicago Bears have placed cornerback Jaylon Johnson on injured reserve with a groin injury, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. He's made the Pro Bowl each of the last two seasons, earning Second Team All-Pro honors in 2023. Johnson went into detail about the injury, which occurred during the Bears' 52-21 loss to the Detroit Lions last Sunday. In essence, Johnson suffered a partial tear of his adductor off his pelvic bone. However, Bears head coach Ben Johnson said it's a new injury, it's not related to what he had before."
