The Edmonton Oilers revealed a new alternate jersey during a Saturday fan event ahead of the start of the 2025-26 NHL season. The new Oilers sweater features the team name in script across the front, as well as a patch reading "oil country" on the shoulder. The Oilers will wear this jersey seven times during the upcoming season, starting with an Oct. 28 home game against the Utah Mammoth. The jersey will be available in the Oilers team store beginning Tuesday, Oct. 7. This marks the first time Oilers players have donned an alternate sweater since the 2023-24 season.
