Mercedes Moné defeated Riho at AEW All Out on Saturday to retain the TBS Championship. Riho got in plenty of offense, but Mercedes successfully used the referee as a distraction and hit Riho with the Money Maker to win the match. On the debut episode of Dynamite on Oct. 2, 2019, Riho beat Nyla Rose to become the inaugural AEW women's world champion. Riho held the title for 133 days before dropping it to Nyla, and entering All Out, she had not held a championship of any kind in AEW since then. While Moné has been nearly unbeatable since joining AEW last year, she did lose an AEW women's world title match to Storm and has yet to hold the title that Riho won first.
