Jordan Davis came up with arguably the biggest play of the Philadelphia Eagles season thus far, both blocking a potential game-winning field goal by the Los Angeles Rams as time expired on Sunday and returning it for a touchdown. Davis, a defensive tackle, is a large man, but he motored down the field to score. After the game, Saquon Barkley joked that Davis showed off some running back speed on the play:"I ain't run that fast since my 40-yard dash," Davis told NFL Network's Mike Garafolo after the contest. But he lost 26 pounds in the offseason and improved his conditioning, hoping to be a three-down presence in 2025. And he was fantastic on Sunday, coming up with several important plays, including stuffing a Rams' run play on fourth down in the fourth quarter and chasing down Matt Stafford on a third-down attempt earlier in the game.
