To everyone calling ARTPOP a flop: while it may be perceived as a "flop" ( I hate this word) compared to her other albums, if compared to other artists it's hardly a flop. Looking specifically at the U.S. ARTPOP has sold about 700,000 copies. Compare with: Demi Lovato who hasn't reached the 600,000 mark with any of her 4 albums, Avril Lavigne's latest album hasn't even come close to 200,000, Ariana Grande's first album sold roughly 400,000, Kesha's last album sold 250,000, Alicia Keys last album sold in the vicinity of 650,000, Christina's last album sold 250,000. So what are all these artists if Gaga and ARTPOP are flops....
