You come in here with weak assertions coupled with language I can only assume you thought to be clever ("shallow as a fetid pond"? Really?) while conveniently fail to provide corroborating evidence, anecdotal or otherwise, and then harp at this user for making unsubstantiated claims? Did you not notice the extended sonic and thematic analysis he/she provided in support of the album's merit? I think he/she was generous in assuming you even achieved a junior college-level of education.
