This information and control and cognitive stuff is my professional area. Originally I was an industrial designer. It’s basically the same mechanism as mobile phone distraction but a bit more subtle. Common sense should show you the way but given some of the nonsense I see on road signs (like lit up signs on dark wet nights telling me it’s road safety week) common sense is out to lunch. This is percentage stuff but the wrong percentage in a marginal situation is not positive.</p>
