It’s no secret that Toyota Motor Philippines is about to launch the all-new Ativ HEV soon. Fortunately for all of us, the Department of Energy (DOE) has just published some details about the upcoming hybrid sedan. PHOTO BY ToyotaAccording to the DOE website, the Ativ HEV’s gasoline engine will be capable of 90hp and its electric motor, 79hp. That’s a 1.3-liter gasoline mill with either a five-speed manual or a CVT, a 1.5-liter petrol mill paired with a CVT, and a 1.5-liter gasoline hybrid that’s also mated to a CVT.
