Expect to see more EV chargers at Shell stations, as the gasoline company has formalized a comprehensive partnership with ACMobility, the mobility arm of the Ayala Corporation. The first phase of the partnership will see 50 Shell stations across the Philippines receive new EV chargers, with at least one high-powered DC fast charger at each hub. Head of non-fuel retail and e-mobility at Shell Philippines, Jolo Valdez, affirmed this: “Shell shares ACMobility’s vision of advancing sustainable mobility in the Philippines. “By opening our stations to host ACMobility’s charging infrastructure, we are helping create a more reliable and accessible network for EV drivers nationwide.”Before this, Shell Philippines had previously partnered with ACMobility to integrate its proprietary Shell Recharge EV charging stations on the Evro app. At the time of writing, ten Shell Recharge stations can be accessed on Evro.
