Specifically, Genesis is considering bringing the off-road-focused X Gran Equator concept to life—introducing itself to the full-size SUV segment and potential customers of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class and the Lexus LX. A production version of the X Gran Equator would see a bespoke, four-seater vehicle riding on 24-inch beadlock wheels, all tied together in a futuristic shell. With Hyundai also set to debut new range-extended electric vehicles, this type of powertrain could also be utilized in the next Genesis release.
