The time has come to put down the pen and pack away the computer (Ian Chappell's last column)

When ex-Australia captain Ian Chappell called the legendary Don Bradman ‘vindictive’ Someone who speaks his mind and doesn't mince words, Chappell had a very critical view of Australian legend cricketer Don Bradman. In eng 48 tour, lots of eng rich people used to give Bradman 1000 pounds ( which was huge amount in those days) during/after a game.But Bradman never used to spent even a penny on his teammates drinks as a courtesy. So in a sense he never watched his team.After doing such nonsense for his entire career, Bradman banned cricketers from writing articles as soon as he became the selector .
