This was a fantastic read and certainly very timely! I wonder how this ongoing tariff war is going to affect our maritime relationships and partnerships with Asian-Pacific nations. I agree that this must be addressed soon. Our US supply fleet simply is not ready to support long-term operations in a theater where the tyranny of distance to supply hubs complicates our potential success.
