A strong second half that is on par with the some of the best organizations in baseball is starting to get the Chicago White Sox noticed by more people around the league. MLB Network analyst Dan Plesac recently referred to the White Sox as a "sleeping giant" who are no longer the laughing stock of the AL Central. Hinch recently made comments about the young White Sox core and the "problem" they are becoming for divisional opponents. It must make White Sox fans feel good to know that Hinch, who is "the one that got away," is now looking at the White Sox with some envy and fear over what's to come. The second half of 2025 is just the start of what should be a fun era of White Sox baseball.
