“Christopher Luxon and Nicola Willis’s economic mismanagement is wrecking local communities – and Griffin’s proposal to close the Proper Crisps factory in Nelson is the latest example,” said Nelson MP Rachel Boyack. “Yesterday’s GDP data was a damning verdict on National’s inability to run the economy. “And the consequences are real: businesses are closing, jobs are being lost, and families are paying the price. “Every business closure, every lost job, every person moving overseas to find work just adds to the evidence that National cannot run the economy. Nelson and every other community across New Zealand cannot afford another three years of National,” Rachel Boyack said.
