We might as well admit that we are actually fighting a religion. Islam is more than "religious". The danger is the political or Jihad side. Fighting an idea is very difficult. It takes radical propaganda methods. You have to attack the belief system and since Islam is a totalitarian belief system, you must also attack the local enforcement.
