CHESTNUT HILL — Boston College coach Bill O’Brien was asked after practice on Tuesday what the team worked on over the bye week. “Tackling, ball security, place kicking, punting, blocking, catching the football, making good coverage reads and good communication on defense and good operation on offense,” said O’Brien. On the first play following the turnover, Stanford tailback Micah Ford rushed the ball up the middle 75 yards to the BC five. Ford scored on the next play to give Stanford a 27-20 lead with 1:35 to play in the frame. “Got to take care of the ball and look at the games this past weekend, look at the pro games and look at the college games,” O’Brien said.
