I know Indian cricket has a lot of upcoming talented young batsmen like Shaw, Gill, Kishan, Padikkal, etc., but I always considered him to be India's best uncapped LOI talent. I know it isn't sexy to consider a 30 year old batsman as India's best talent especially when you have a lot of "youngsta beauties" who play fearless cricket but he is the most mature out of them all. I am a hardcore CSK fan and hail from the south, so there's no love lost for either the Mumbai Indians or the Mumbai lobby as far as I'm concerned, but it's a bit of a disgrace how long Surya has had to wait to receive his first international cap for India.
