Los Alamos Police Chief Releases 2025 3rd Quarter Crime Statistics Reflecting 6 Percent Decrease Year To Date

Today, Los Alamos Police Chief Dino Sgambellone released crime statistics through the third quarter of 2025, compiled by the Records Section of the Los Alamos Police Department. Through the first three quarters of 2025, a total of 152 crimes have been reported to police, including 47 crimes against persons, 98 crimes against property, and 7 crimes against society. By comparison, 161 crimes were reported to the police in the first three quarters of 2024, including 44 crimes against persons, 104 crimes against property, and 13 crimes against society.
